Rock legends support one of the boys!

Some of Australia's best known musicians have come together to
support one of their own, Mick Cocks guitarist and a founding member
of the iconic Australian rock band Rose Tattoo.
Mick has been diagnosed with liver cancer. Many of Micks' peers have
come together for a special benefit concert called 'One Of The Boys'
– a concert for Mick Cocks that will be held at the Enmore Theatre
Friday 24th July from 7pm.
Some of the artists confirmed for the show are Jimmy Barnes, You Am
I, Ian Moss, Rose Tattoo, The Radiators, Phil Small, Dave Tice and
Mark Evans (ex AC/DC), Steve Prestwich and Lucy De Soto.
This very special rock music event is being presented by Support Act
Limited the registered charity set up to assist members of the
entertainment industry.
Tickets available from Ticketek and the Enmore Theatre from
Wednesday 8th July and are $49.90 + booking fee.

8 April 2009 Rose Tattoo's management have today announced that the bands
guitarist and founding member Mick Cocks has been diagnosed with liver cancer. 2 January 2007 ROSE TATTOO PRESS RELEASE - ROSE TATTOO has posted it's video for the track "Black Eyed Bruiser" at YouTube.com. The song is the first single from 'Blood Brothers' which was produced by veteran Australian producer Mark Optiz (INXS, Cold Chisel, KISS). "Black Eyed Bruiser" was written by the band's original production team, Harry Vanda and George Young, who were AC/DC's producers. ROSE TATTOO were due to start recording 'Blood Brothers' in Sydney on May 1, but put back the recording following the guitarist Pete Wells' passing until July. The band were very hopeful of having Pete play on this album before he got too ill. ROSE TATTOO will embark on a European tour in early March. The band will also play select tour dates with SAXON and MASTERPLAN. A Bon Scott celebration concert is being held in Perth, WA, Australia, on 25 February 2007, in order to raise money for a statue to be erected in honour of Bon. Dave Tice will be there as a member of THE PARTY BOYS who will also featuring Mark Evans (ex AC/DC bass player & co partner of TICE & EVANS) and they will be playing a number of AC/DC's songs + a couple of earlier songs by Bon. Rob Grosser is currently mixing the album and a release date is not yet known. 4 December 2006 Aztec Music have re-released the final two Buffalo albums and they can be purchased over the net from Vicious Sloth or direct from Aztec Music.

23 May 2006 Welcome to the new revamped BLOW YOUR SPEAKERS! web site. It's well over due and I also know that there's a lot of fans out there who have been hanging out for an update. If you have a look, you'll notice I'm still working on the revamp but I thought I'd put it up while still working on it. The main news of recent times was the tragic death of Pete Wells who passed away on 27 March 2006, as the result of cancer. As I stated on Pete's web site at the time -
