Manufacturer: UHA (confectionery) / Kaiyodo (Toy figure) Release Date: December 2001 (Eastern Japan), followed by other areas in January and February 2002 Notes: The third Chocolasaurus (or Dinotales) series included 24 figures plus three "secret" figures. The figures were again designed and created under the direction of Matsumura Shinobu, who had already received much acclaim for his Choco Egg figures that had been released by Kaiyodo. The Chocolasaurus figures were released in a prism-shaped box that contained the figures themselves in unassembled form together with an explanatory sticker and a series paper, all contained inside an opaque polyethylene bag. There were also four or five small chocolate drops packaged together, and these were all enclosed in a prism-shaped cardboard box. This series contained the same normal figures as the original Chocolasaurus Series 1, except that all items were created with different colours. Sample figures are shown in the photos below so that you can see how the colours differed between the original series and the "repaint" series. |
