Manufacturer: Furuta (confectionery) / Kaiyodo (Toy figure) Release Date: September 2000 Notes: This was the fourth series of Choco Eggs released. It included 24 figures of animals, birds, insects and marine animals that are found in and around Japan. The figures were all designed by Matsumura Shinobu of Kaiyodo. The release of Animals Series 4 coincided with the release of Pets Series 1. In the same way as with Series 3, this new series contained "secret" animals, and from this point on it became almost de rigueur for Japanese collectible sets to contain one or more secret items. |
