Manufacturer: Furuta (confectionery) / Kaiyodo (Toy figure) Release Date: February 2000 Notes: This was the third series of Choco Eggs released. It included 48 figures of animals, birds, insects and marine animals that are found in and around Japan. The figures were all designed by Matsumura Shinobu of Kaiyodo. It was the first Choco Egg series to include "secret" figures. Secret figures were not publicised as part of the series in the avertising leading up to the series release, and they were presumably discovered for the first time when comsumers bought some eggs and opened them up. Generally the insertion rates for these secret animals is very low, so they also tend to be scarce and hard to get. |
