Australia/N.Z. Yowie Lost Kingdom Series A Checklist

Rope

Manufacturer: Cadbury (confectionery) / Kidcorp (Toy figure)
Release Date:

Notes:
This was the fifth series of Cadbury Yowies released in the Oceania region, and the first in the "Lost Kingdom" series of prehistoric fugires. They were sold in Australia and New Zealand, and later in Japan. The series consisted of 50 prehistoric figures and 6 limited-edition Skulls. Lost Kingdom Series A was the first Yowie series to use the distinctive "two-tone" colour for its capsules. (See the picture below.)

Lost Kingdom Series A saw the release of a presentation pack, which was a box containing a large chocolate "dinosaur" egg. The box also included three Series A Yowies and one limited-edition Skull, as well as one of the standard off-the-shelf Lost Kingdom Yowie singles. These extra figures were not put inside capsules in the same way as for normal Yowies, but were instead enclosed in sealed plastic bags. At first the only way to obtain the Skulls men was to buy them inside one of these presentation packs, although they later became available in singles.
