Manufacturer: Cadbury (confectionery) / Kidcorp (Toy figure) Release Date: Notes: This was the seventh series of Cadbury Yowies released, or the ninth when Lost Kingdom Series A and B are counted. They were sold in Australia and New Zealand, but they were never sold on shop shelves in Japan, unlike other Yowie Series such as Series 1 and Series 3. The series consisted of 30 normal figures and six limited-edition Golden Transporters. This series was officially known as the "Adventure Series 2". It was the first Yowie series to depict native flora (plants) as well as fauna (wildlife). It also included new multi-piece versions of the Grumkins that first appeared back in Series 3, and new Yowie "furniture". The reverse sides of the papers (see below for an example) contained comic strip stories revolving around these new characters. |
