Rope

Australia/N.Z. Yowie Series 6 (Adventure Series 1) Checklist

Rope

Manufacturer: Cadbury (confectionery) / Kidcorp (Toy figure)
Release Date:

Notes:
This was the sixth series of Cadbury Yowies released, or the seventh when Lost Kingdom Series A is counted. They were sold in Australia and New Zealand, but they were never sold on shop shelves in Japan, unlike other Yowie Series such as Series 1 and Series 3. The series consisted of 30 normal figures and six limited-edition Mini Yowie Men. It was the first normal Yowie series (other than the Lost Kingdoms) to formally use a numbering system to number the figures in the series.

This series was officially known as the "Adventure Series 1". It was the first Yowie series that did not simply depict animals, birds, fish and insects. The series included animals and birds, but also "sidekicks" (Yowie helpers), "yurts" (Yowie houses), and "transporters" (Yowie vehicles), and a new lot of six Grumkins. The reverse sides of the papers (see below for an example) contained comic strip stories revolving around these new characters.
