Manufacturer: Cadbury (confectionery) / Kidcorp (Toy figure) Release Date: Notes: This was the fourth series of Cadbury Yowies released. They were sold in Australia and New Zealand, and later in Japan. The series consisted of 50 wildlife figures, 6 limited-edition Multi-piece Yowie figures, 6 limited-edition Yowie Crystals, and a limited-edition Lord Balthizzar figure. Series 4 saw the release of the second "Mega Yowie", which was an extra-large Yowie with a Rumble foil wrapping. Inside the Mega Yowie were three Series 4 Yowies and one limited-edition Multi-piece Yowie man, as well as one of the standard off-the-shelf Yowes. These extra figures were not put inside capsules in the same way as for normal Yowies, but were instead enclosed in sealed plastic bags. The only way to obtain the Multi-piece Yowie men was to buy them inside one of these Mega Rumbles. |
