Henry was the youngest son of Lawrence Chamberlen. S9  S350  S357 
Henry was a farmer for a number of years at Wandsborough Plain, some fifteen miles west of Abingdon in Wiltshire. He came to Van Diemen's Land (Tasmania) in about 1855. At first the Chamberlens lived at "Thorpe", Bothwell, and then moved to Brighton. Their next move was to "Boiton Hill Farm" near St. Leonards, and then to Boisdale at North Down. The family later moved to and remained at "Thirlstane" for seventeen years. Finally Henry bought the property on the Tamar River known as "Blackwood Hills". S350 
"Redbourne Spalford" was the residence of Henry's son. S9  S350
