Notes
An inscription on the Burbury monument in the Leek Wootton churchyard says that Daniel Winter Burbury died at Warwick August 17, 1837, aged 50 years. Family trees which I have been given confirm that this Daniel Winter was born in 1787 and died in 1837.
However, my father has a document in his possession which mentions a Daniel Winter Burbury who died in 1828. If this date is correct, this second Daniel would have to be either an uncle or a first cousin of the first one, because the name Winter enters the family records for the first time with the marriage of the first Daniel's grandfather William to Elizabeth Winter.
There is another Daniel Winter Burbury that I know of, but he was baptised in 1822. S179  S284  S664 
The date of burial is before the date that Daniel W. was said to have died. S526  S513
