This "hypothetical father" is a placeholding character whose purpose is to draw together the families of Anthony, William and John BORBOROW/BURBOROUGH of Adderbury, Oxfordshire. These three all had children baptised in the parish of Adderbury between the years of 1635 and 1652, so it is likely that they were closely related in some way, perhaps as brothers. S906
