This page is devoted to the many unplaced individuals and families with the surname of BURBURY / BURBERY / BURBERRY or some other variant who cannot be linked up to any of the major family groupings.
An "unplaced" family is basically one where the parents of the senior member of that family are unknown. Of course, all families ultimately come under that definition, and so what I have done is this: when the number of known members of a family reaches a certain undefined but reasonably substantial number, I give them an identifying name, such as the "Coventry Burbury" family or the "Surrey Burberry" family.
