

This is the last Will and Testament of me John Burberry of Priory Road, South Park, Reigate Surrey, husbandman, made this eleventh day of September 1873.
I direct my Executors herein after named to pay all my just debts and funeral and testamentary expenses. Whereas I have in my lifetime provided for my daughter Sophia Woodman and my son Stephen Burberry and therefore I have not made any bequest to them by this my Will.
I give to my daughter in law Elizabeth, the widow of my late son John Burberry, the sum of five pounds. To my daughter Sarah, the widow of John Ireland late of Smallfield in Burstow, the sum of fifty pounds and to my son William Burberry now in the United States of America the sum of ten pounds.
I give, devise and bequeath to my son Thomas Burberry all that my freehold cottage and appurtenants thereto and now in the occupation of Joseph Clark and situate in the Priory Road, South Park, Reigate aforesaid for his own absolute use.
I give, devise and bequeath to my son George Burberry all that my freehold cottage and land situate in the Priory Road aforesaid now in the occupation of Edward Francis and in which I am now residing for his absolute use.
I direct that the title deeds and documents relating to the said freehold cottages and which do not relate to the cottage which I have devised to my said son Thomas shall remain in the custody or control of my said son George, his heirs and assigns, he entering into a covenant for production thereof in the usual way to my said son Thomas, his heirs and assigns, such covenant to be made and executed at the expense of my said son George.
I give, devise and bequeath all the residue and remainder of my estate and effects whether real or personal unto and equally between my said sons Thomas and George and I also devise unto them all estates vested in me as trustee or mortgagee subject to the equities offering the same.
I appoint my sons Thomas and George Executors of this my Will and I revoke all former Wills and Codicils and declare this to be my Last Will and Testament. In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand the day and year first written

Proved at London 21st February 1874 by the oaths of Thomas Burberry and George Burberry the Sons, the Executors to whom Admon was granted.
Probate: February 21 1874 Principal Registry proved by Thomas Burberry of Doversgreen, Woodhatch in Surrey and George Burberry of 31 Tottenham Court Road in the county of Middlesex, Warehouseman, the sons of the executor.
