Will of David Burberry of Loxwood

In the name of God Amen. I David Burberry of Loxwood in the parish of Wisborough Green in the County of Sussex Fellmonger being weak in body but of a sound mind memory and understanding praised be to Almighty God for the same but considering the uncertainty of life do make publish and declare this to be my last Will and Testament as follows

And first I recommend my soul to Almighty God who gave it me and my body to the earth to be decently interred in Christian burial at the expense of my Executor hereinafter named and as to my worldly Estate which it hath pleased God to bless me with I give & bequeath as follows that is to say

All that any part of the stock in hand household Goods ??? money bills and personal estate whatsoever & wheresoever that appertaineth unto me at the time of my decease being jointly in partnership with my brother John Burberry and I do hereby give and bequeath the same unto my said Brother John Burberry his heirs & assigns subject to the payment of my just debts funeral expenses and the proving of this my will and I do appoint him the said John Burberry sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament

In witness whereof I David Burberry the Testator have hereunto set my hand & seal this Eighteenth day of March one thousand eight hundred and fifteen.

Proved at London 9th August 1815 before the Worshipful Saml. Rush Moyrick Doctor of Laws and Surrogate by the oath of John Burberry the Brother & sole Executor to whom admon was granted having being first sworn duly to administer.
